Capt. Rick Grassett (www.snookfin-addict.com) designed this bendback for the local Sarasota waters. Rick is a personal friend and co-board member of the Mangrove Coast Fly Fishers. This pattern, which was picked up by Orvis, is great for finding redfish up on the skinny-water flats. Mine version is a bit lighter olive, has a bit more peacock, and is tied on an uber-sharp Dai Riki #2 hook. Remember, bendbacks tend to be weedless-drag it through the grass.
